Scotland St. Andrews Saltire smile flag 5ft x 3ft with eyelets 5ft x 3ft
The flag of Scotland, called The Saltire or Saint Andrew's Cross, is a blue field with a white saltire. According to tradition, it represents Saint Andrew, who is supposed to have been crucified on a cross of that form (called a crux decussata) at Patras, Greece.
There is some debate as to which shade of blue, one discussion is Part of the tradition is that St Andrew wore blue, and so the white of the wooden cross against the blue of his robes gave us the colour of the national flag, others say it is a lighter blue , from the sky pictured behind the cross
This is a quality flag made from 70 denier polyester and comes with two metal eyelets. We recommend using two flag bungees to secure thie flag to a telescopic flag pole ( not included )
